Complete CSCS Health & Safety for Construction Course package in Hull is designed for people working in, or aspiring to work in, the construction industry to obtain the CSCS card to work in construction. It will give learners the knowledge to undertake their jobs safely. Successful learners who also complete the CITB Operatives Health, Safety and Environment knowledge test will fulfil the requirements to apply for the CSCS Labourer’s card. CSCS Health & Safety for Construction course covers: common hazards and risks in a construction environment safe manual handling practices working safely at height and working safely around plant and machinery importance of effective teamwork and communication in ensuring safe working practices are followed in the construction industry. Course Venue: RDS Training Centre in Hull, East Yorkshire CSCS L1 Award Health & Safety in the Construction course includes: 1 day training held from 9 am to 3 pm Registration Certification Accredited by: Highfield Qualifications CSCS Test & card application will be booked on the day for a date at Bond Street. Assessment: The Highfield section of the course is assessed by an examination. 40 questions in one hour. The pass mark is 32. The qualification is certificated by Highfield Qualifications. All exams are taken online and results are instant. Resits can be booked the same day if required. Certificates are received electronically at the office within 5 working days of completing your Highfield course. Once you have successfully completed the L1 H&S in Construction, RDS will book you into a Pearson Vue centre of your choice on an available date and time of your choice. This will not be the same day as your attendance at RDS office. Mock resources are available at RDS. This course is instant results but cannot be rebooked on the day. There is an additional cost of £40 inclusive of VAT if you fail this exam. Once you have completed both parts please send or bring a copy of your pass certificate to enable RDS to apply for your CSCS card. IMPORTANT: You will be required to produce photographic proof of identity for the course and examination. ID will be required on the day of training. Without the ID you will NOT BE ALLOWED to complete the portfolio. For example, you could bring your driving licence, passport or photographic employee card.
