L2 Award in CCTV Operations (Public Surveillance) is a regulated qualification is ideal for anyone wishing to work as a CCTV operative as it provides them with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for an SIA licence in this field. It has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). The L2 Award in CCTV Operations (Public Surveillance) course is structured over 3 days from 9am until 5pm. Cost: £250 inclusive of VAT The cost of the course includes: 3 days training, registration, certification and lunch. IMPORTANT – You may be exempt from the first exam if you have passed the Working in the Private Security Industry unit since 1st April 2021. You must provide a copy of your certificate. Course Venue: RDS Training Centre in Hull, East Yorkshire The course includes 3 sections:- Working in the Private Security Industry (110 minutes multiple choice exam. Pass mark 70% 0f 72) Working as a CCTV Operator (1 hour multiple choice exam. Pass mark 28/40) Practical Use of CCTV System (tutor assessed) Please note: There are very strict entry requirements, consequently you must produce as proof of identity for the course and examinations your ID and digital photographs will be taken by RDS tutor on the first day of training. Without the specific ID you will NOT BE ALLOWED to take the examinations this must be supplied at the start of course. 1 x Group A & 2 x Group B Documents.
